Halo von Hameln is a wonderful 3-month old German shepherd mix puppy on the smaller side.  Her name says it all – she’s a slice of heaven wrapped up in a gorgeous, velvety-soft little body! Halo is so sweet and tender with the very young foster kids, allowing them ample snuggles and savoring every minute of their gentle belly rubs. One of Halo's favorite things to do is lay next to her foster mom when she is rocking the young baby to sleep. Halo instinctively knows to be quiet and calm in the baby's room. This sensitive soul quickly blossomed into a playful pup in her new foster home, enjoying energetic play time with the foster family and their pack.  Halo keeps amused with a swift game of fetch and with her squeaky toys until it’s time for a well-deserved nap near her favorite humans. The older shepherd in the family is her role model; Halo allows her to set the energy level of play and is submissive to her cues.  She quickly learns commands, like ‘sit’ and ‘come’, has a healthy appetite and is well on her way to being potty and leash trained.  Halo’s foster mommy is delighted that she sleeps quietly in her crate all night and greets her family with wags and sloppy kisses the next morning. This little angel is truly ‘heaven sent’ and will make a perfect addition to any home, including those with kids and other dogs,
